This club was recently launched by USHA FIRE and inaugurated by Mr.Vidhyagar, founder of Udavum Karangal. It is a non-profit organisation with a main objective of imparting the life saving knowledge to the general public by conducting various training programmes in diffrent areas. Interested person can collect the membership form from USHA FIRE and join the club. They will be trained to train others.

PRAYER OF THE LIFE SAVER
When I am called to duty, God !
Whenever flames may rise
Give me strength to save some life
Whatever be its size.
Help me To embrace a little child
Before it is too late
Or save an older from
The Horror of the fate.
Enable me to alert
And hear the weakest shout
And quickly and efficiently
To put the fire out.
I want to fill the calling and
To give the best in me
To Guard my every neighbour
And protect their property.
And it according to my fate
I am to lose my life.
Please bless with your protecting hand
My children and my family.

SAFETY PRAYER
IT IS UPTO ME
I want a Workplace, that’s Injury Free.
And if that’s going to happen, then it’s up to me.
I must, take the time, with each task I do,
To look for the hazards, and think the job through.
To check the procedures and follow them all
And reject taking shortcuts, no matter how small.
When I walk through the workplace,
I must stay alert
To watch for those things, that could get people hurt.
And if I see a hazard, I won’t rest until.
I have made the thing safe, or know someone will.
I must question each unsafe behaviour I see,
And encourage all others, to do that for me.
I must always give safety, the best I can do.
And expect that performance of all others too.
I must always remember to let people see,
That their safe behaviour is important to me.
Every act is important, no matter how small.
For the safety of one, is the safety of all
We can all have a workplace that’s injury free
If we each one commit, to Making It Be,
If we all do our part, and each of us see,
If it’s Going to Happen, Then It’s Up To Me.
